Do u just note yours and take the strips all the way to the end or leave it unfished a couple inches?

I did mine in a combination of orange, brown, gold and then I had a leaf print - several fabrics have some metallic print on them as well. Instead of twine I used a 52" x 2" pc of upholstery fabric in a tan (feels like a softer linen/burlap if that makes sense. A 2" strip cost me all of .82¢). I then draped it over a pencil tree.

I love your colors.Tinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01152721797187839845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1160371074353452445.post-88087430116592094842015-08-22T21:37:44.856-07:002015-08-22T21:37:44.856-07:00I justmade up a fall garland while watching tv. It's the same principle; wind the string (I use tinsel) around one end of the wrapping, secure it tightly and when you have enough, wind the tinsel around a wire coathanger which you've bent into a circle. When people unwrap a sweet the open wrapper remains on the wreath which looks even prettier.franinoznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1160371074353452445.post-79940010128404803812011-11-21T13:54:38.625-08:002011-11-21T13:54:38.625-08:00I remember it now! Thanks for refreshing my fading memory and I'm sure that your newer readers appreciate it, too.

I learned something else new today. I had no idea, I kid you not, that there was any such thing as a rotary pinking blade.
