To my surprise, "CD" ... one of the IN girls in my grade and daughter of a wealthy AKA snooty family ... invited me to her house for a pumpkin pancake lunch. Lunch consisted of a SINGLE pumpkin pancake, and not a particularly large one at that, with the faintest barely discernible drip of syrup. I was too shy to comment, but have wondered over the years if they always ate less than farm-sized portions! I do...I have never been one for flavored pancakes.

I don't know why....maybe because I'm afraid that it might get in the way of the taste of syrup.chocolatechichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16926192602146485028noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1160371074353452445.post-37941149362578147102009-11-05T06:37:31.904-08:002009-11-05T06:37:31.904-08:00These pancakes sound delicious! Too often recipes posted get complicated by not turning to ingredients we have on the shelve. But you have given us one that is easy and filled with all the wonderful balancing spices. I am definitely going to make these over the weekend.
