Thanks to Vee who reminded me that I need to provide a shopping list for candy to decorate the Gingerbread House.
Walk the candy aisle of the store and thing about what would look cute on your house. Starlight mints are favorite, and candy canes can be broken into pieces and used around the window or doors.
Buy some stick gum. It can be used as roofing tile. Also, Necco Wafers can be used in a variety of ways. Brown Jelly Belly's make great cobblestones or a fireplace.
Ju-Ju B's add a colorful touch; I found some long strips of green candy that I've used for roping.
Ice cream cones can be turned upside down and covered with green icing to make Christmas trees in the "yard".
Just use your imagination as to how the candy can be used.
Thanks Vee!

No, thank you! I have to go shopping...horrors...and just want to be prepared.
I've not rolled out the dough yet, but that's tonight's chore.
Hey Suzanne; I love reading your posts on the making of Ginger Bread house's. I love the windows you put in with red and clear candy so so pretty.
Merry Christmas
Hugs;
Alaura
