My World Tuesday

Just today I found out about something called My World Tuesday. It's Meme in which you show what's going on in your world. Not wanting to be a day late and a dollar short again, I'm posting a video of my drive to the polling place.

Not very exciting, but that's my world! Be sure to shut my music off so that you can hear my riveting description of the ride.

Thanks for the ride. How fun. You might have to do more of this. It's fun to hear your voice. And how beautiful it is there! Sweet dreams.

Loved the ride...pretty scenery...no ugly houses... just pleasant. I really must try this sometime. Hope that The Farmer was driving!

Fun ride - thanks for taking me along. I love your accent!!!

Lucy - I'll take you for plenty more rides, although there isn't much to look at except corn and soybeans.

Belladella - Ahhhh, my voice. Everybody hates their own voice, except perhaps someone like James Earl Jones.

Vee - Oh, I can assure you there are ugly houses around here. Abandoned farmhouses disintegrating by the moment and falling down. I'll have to do an "ugly, haunted farmhouse" tour for you. The Farmer? He left for South Carolina just after breakfast. Draw your own conclusions. You will notice there was not even ONE other car on the road. So much for traffic jams around here.

Pieceful Afternoon - Accent? What accent? People in the midwest don't have accents, especially people like me who were raised within spitting distance of the city of Chicago. Truthfully, a Chicago accent is horrible. Very nasally and just plain ugly. ICK.

A barn torn down to make a house that looked like a barn! I think they did something like that on This Old House years ago. The only trace of accent I heard was when you say "barn". Thanks for the little car trip.

Wow, that was fun, Suzanne -- I loved hearing your voice, with it's cute Midwestern twang! :) But please tell me that you were not filming and driving at the same time...

Mary

I just love hearing your voice. Now I will know 'its' sound when you write. Do that again soon!

Martina - Seriously, I could not believe that they ripped a barn down and built a village hall that looked like a barn, and this is not the only instance of this. There's a water treatment plant built to look like a barn and a new sports and fitness center also built to look like a barn. Some of the barns are still rock solid after a hundred years and they still dismantle them. Also, stick around. I'm sure that I'll post something in which I launch into a nasally Chicago tirade that sounds just the "Da Couch". (Mike Ditka)

Punkin - I am well. Thanks for coming along for the ride.

Mary - Ok, if you insist I'll tell you that I wasn't driving and filming at the same time. We multi-task here in the midwest, and we don't have any other cars on the road!

Liberty.... YES! I want people to hear my "voice" in my writing. Here's what happened in the past. I was a big part of an online forum for years. People seemed to love what I wrote. And then I met them in person. What did they say? They said I was very funny and much more of a smart aleck then they realized. Yep, that's me, a witty smart aleck.

I'd like to thank everyone for visting with me today. I appreciate your friendship. I need all the friends I can get. I only have FOUR friend on Facebook. HA.

So how did I miss this from the My World Tuesday blog? Did you put in your name and link on that site? If not, please do next time! I come here anyway, but I'm one of the moderators over there, and I can tell you I appreciate that you linked back to that site, but I can't find you over there!
