What the heck? The Other Mother bought a box mix to make a cranberry tangerine cheese ball.
I don't normally look at the product ingredients but I glance at the box and this is what I saw:
Look closer at what's in Packet #2.
Carnauba wax? I'm a car nut and I'm pretty sure that carnauba wax is what I use to shine up the Red Sled. Yep....look here:
According to Wikipedia it's used in lots of different ways. Who knew?
I mixed packet one with cream cheese.
Rolled it in Packet #2 (the sugar crystals and carnauba wax).
And fed to to the Farmer.
He thoroughly enjoyed it.
We just won't tell him that his innards are now nice and shiny!

LOL now is the time to figure out how to discreatly get him to eat a shammy!!!! LOL that looks like a nice - ball... did it have a waxy flavor at all?? Sometimes stuff with wax in it looses flavor, I think anyway..
I have seen that type of wax in stuff before as the ingredient - ugh. I also look to see if something contains "red lake 40" as a coloring. I learned during a group outing with my girl scouts that Red Lake 40 is a natural coloring made from !!!BUGS!!!
Shiny innards could be a plus when going thru the xrays at the airport...couldn't it?
Bwahahahahha!
That is so that the calories just slip right through.
There's just no telling what kind of garbage the FDA has been allowing us to eat for the past LIFETIME! Sheesh.

Ahhh.what they don't know won't hurt them...we hope anyways lol.
Eeeeewwwww. But then I'm a picky eater....
I don't know if I want to look at the ingredient lists more closely or skip it all together! The finished product sure did look good though.
I have a feeling a lot of us have NO IDEA what we are putting in our bodies....LOL.
Have a great day,
Robin
They put it on lots of candies too. I'm pretty sure it is listed on packets of M&Ms. Makes 'em just slide down the throat.
lol you are too funny. Glad the farmer has bright shiny innards
This was hilarious-and Heidi gets the prize for funniest followup. Remember wax Halloween treats? Teeth, lips, mustaches, those miniature Coke bottles.
Lol, such a cute post :)
This was my first visit to your blog. Just wanted to say hi and I loved this post!
