I am glad the Chicago won! I am a Native Detroiter, therefore a Wings fan since birth. I remember in 1996 when they won the Cup for the first time in 42 years and how cool it was. Go Blackhawks!

I know all of Illinois was really into this game! I happened to watch a movie on WGN yesterday and saw the news after the movie. It was mostly about this. :-)

I thought of you last night as our house erupted with ROARS when the puck was finally found. Of course, we knew it was there.
My husband grew up in Elmwood Park and loves Chicago sports. He will be home early tomorrow to watch the Sox/Cubs game.

Yup...I'm with you. Well, actually we are Canucks fans over here...but since they were defeated by the Blackhawks...we switched allegiance.
