Wallpaper Archaeology Update

Thanks to everyone who voted in my poll about what to do about the cowboy wallpaper.

As I suggested to my daughter when she was freaking out, the smell was simply due to the fact that the apartment had been closed up for a period of time. Now that windows have been opened and people are constantly going in and out there's no odor at all.

She's decided to keep the wallpaper. It will add a kitschy/funky feeling to her Kimora Lee Simmons inspired closet room. She's found a cheetah patterned rug somewhere, she's just saving her pennies, and I'm searching all my thrifting sources for a crystal chandelier.

I've got some great stories from my organizing and cleaning adventure. Check back tomorrow!

I'll be back to check out your tips later.

Yay that your daughter decided to keep the wallpaper. Hope that we'll get to see the afters, too. This must be a fun time for her!

Love that wallpaper... UNLIKE THE DESIGNERS OF TODAY. Who cares what they think? I must care because I watch them incessantly. :) I am glad it will be saved.

Yay for preserving some of the history of the old house!

Sorry I've been AWOL...sometimes life does that.

Look forward to hearing about your adventures.

Praise God there will be no wallpaper removing! (Although you received great how-to instructions from me,lol.I still don't wish this task on anyone.)
I need an update on your MacGuyver contents in your purse. Have you added any nifty must-have gadgets?
Confession: I've been carrying a mini tape measure in my purse for years but no make-up. I do keep nail clippers in the work van to keep my nails short. I have weird priorities, lol.
