Reset ... Recharge

Do you ever feel like those creative batteries are drained?

It's really crazy when I feel like I have nothing to say because I always have something to say.

No worries though because today we're going to a pig roast. The food, the friendship and the slow roasted pig will have me up and running again.

In the meantime watch a video from pig roasts of the past. The Farmer snags some pig and thinks that no one notices!!!

Have a great day everyone!

Many, many times in my life I have felt my creative batteries depleted. My best advice is not to "try" to get creative cause it never works. Your batteries will recharge naturally because we are naturally creative. You'll see!

I've felt like that a few times lately. It's so frustrating!

The farmer cracks me up ;)

Usually when life drains me, my creativity gets drained as well.

Hugs.

It is usually the business of life that sucks the life outa me. Maybe you need a "me" day, or maybe that farmer should take you on a get away. We have been known to camp in our own back yard when we needed a get-away but couldn't get away away! video--Any what in the Midwest???

Hey I forgot to mention: my 15 year old son made the laundry soap this morning (he was washing clothes and didn't want to run out mid-stream). We used Fels-Napa, I looked for the cute pink stuff but found it not.I mentioned it to my son, and when he was stirring he said "what were you complaining about the fles stuff makes a really nice color!" He will make some girl a very blessed! Also I had a case of pot jealousy, especially when I read you only paid 50 cents for it!

Yes, ma'am. And when the creative batteries come back to life they just might be on overflow.

Came here after Vickie of Sand Flat Farm blog mentioned your blog and Etsy shop. Glad I did.

I always read a good book or watch a movie where my hubby/family looks so good in comparision. Do what you love to do for fun and creativity will come to you.

I too struggle to put words together when I'm tired. I just post an interesting picture and sometimes the words flow and sometimes they don't.
We love going to a hog roast, my headteacher is having a BIG retirement party and she has booked 2 hog roasts, but boy are they expensive. To hire the equipment and buy the pig cost £400 each!

Thanks for all the good advice. I kinda took a break from answers comments. I really believe that if someone takes the time to comment, I should at least acknowledge it.

Thanks for visiting today. I've got a ton of laundry.
