Yesterday a self-avowed long time lurker came out to leave a comment and for that I'm very grateful. I love to hear from everyone.
I'll have to admit that in the beginning I didn't understand lurking. Perhaps it's because I can barely keep my mouth shut, either in person or in print. Sometimes it seems like I can't get the words out fast enough and the thought of reading along without weighing in with my opinion was totally foreign to me.
But lately I've been trying to tone myself down a bit and there's a lot to be said for observing and contemplating without comment. There's also the problem of time. When your blogroll begins to run in the triple digits, something's got to give and usually it's commenting.
I do love to consider different viewpoints but have found that mostly we share common concerns and goals.
I'm grateful for everyone who takes time out of their busy lives to spend some time here. The visitors are the energy that drives the engine here on the prairie.

Observe without comment? Pshaw!! So hard! C
I love it when a lurking makes a short comment. It is like...WOW. You are hear afterall.
I know that for myself it would be really really hard to leave a comment on all the blogs I read. Triple digits for sure! :) Also, I usually catch up on blogs at night....in bed...while the hubby is asleep next to me and if I started typing it would wake him up.
Hugs and Delurking!! hahahaha
dawn
I'm here every morning, even if I don't comment!
I love seeing u pop up on my sidebar ... and usually I pop right over to be noz-y ... didn't you see me lookin in the kitchen window?
from what I've been told in emails, i, too have a lot of lurker-s ... kinda fun in a secret kinda way
You know me and my crappy commenting. Sometimes you just have to comment, sometimes everyone before you has said it all.
I'm a lurker...I think part of it for me is finding it hard to start commenting on a well-estabished blog where the writer has a lot of bloggy friends and not wanting to intrude.
I think I've commented here maybe once or twice. Usually by the time I read the post someone else has already said what I was thinking :) I really enjoy your blog, whether I say anything or not, I read it every day!
What Therese said is usually the same for me. I comment here now and again, but I check so many blogs it's hard to stop and comment all the time. You know I love your blog! I come by and enjoy it daily.
Here I am. :) I've been reading your posts for quite awhile. I don't know if I have ever commented, but I sure enjoy what you write.
Even my husband has to pull comments out of me - I am quite opposite of the stereotypical verbose woman.
I love to read what you have to say about your community as I am sure you live very close to Sherwood Farms home of my niece and Rockford, my sister's home.
There is a forest joining their place on the north, forget the name. Keep me posted.
I have to admit I lurk more than I comment on most of the blogs I read. I'm shy. Really I am!
Ok, you got me...I am an every day "lurker". I really enjoy your blog, especially our Monday Morning Staff Meetings. I did comment once. Since I don't have a blog I feel a bit shy.

another lurker here... I have purchased one of your aprons and have made your laundry soap! I tend to gush and blabber so try to keep quiet. But HEY! I'm here and I loves ya
I ALWAYS have something to say, and am amazed that even when my mouth is tired my fingers take right over!
So true - commenting does fall by the way as blogs grow in momentum. I like to comment only because I like to join in and be seen - My wish is that I have more time to be everywhere.. xv
I do comment from time to time. Even though I don't comment on every post, I make it a point to read your posts. They are always thoughtful and interesting :)
Hey! I have been here a time or two..I was just going through my bookmarked blogs to see what is happening out there.. Sometimes I just must leave a comment..
I think I must have bookmarked you some time ago. Those pancakes looked really yummy..even the dark edges:)
Hey, I miss your post today.
Hope everything is o.k. and you are busy with something nice and share it with us later.
I've been AWOL from blog-land too long! But I usually leave a comment when I stop by.
I'm right there with you Suzanne. I love the comments, but confess to having to curtail what I have to say because I'm reading so darn many blogs! blessings, marlene

good day people. I'm really into shoes and I have been digging for the sake of that particular brand. The prices seeking the boots were about 350 pounds on every page. But finally I base this locate selling them for the benefit of half price. I in reality love these prada sneakers. I will probably buy them. what can you tell me about these?
To be a good benign being is to be enduring a philanthropic of openness to the world, an skill to group uncertain things beyond your own pilot, that can take you to be shattered in unequivocally outermost circumstances pro which you were not to blame. That says something exceedingly outstanding thither the fettle of the ethical autobiography: that it is based on a trust in the uncertain and on a willingness to be exposed; it's based on being more like a shop than like a prize, something fairly tenuous, but whose extremely precise attraction is inseparable from that fragility.
